Surf To Feel Campaign
The Surf To Feel Campaign was the campaign I created for my Final Major Project, the aim of the campaign, was to encourage people to try surfing and promote the positivity which surrounds the sport. To achieve this, I interviewed surfers collecting key words on how they describe their experiences surfing. I created my own lettering, placing this onto digital and print materials including a surfboard. The lettering shows the words from the interviews, creating a personal connection to the new surfer, the words being a way to encourage somebody.
The campaign includes a pop up surf event, with a beach installation, the installation is a pop up surf school where people are able to try surfing for free. The design of the campaign materials are bright, bold and colourful, being a way in which to encourage people, creating a bright, positive, friendly and encouraging place to try surfing. The aim of the event and campaign, is for people to have fun and try a new sport, using first hand experiences as a way in which to help encourage a new surfer.
