Web Content FDAGMD06
Whilst studying in the second year of the Foundation Degree in Graphic and Digital Media Design, the task was to create a fictitious website, logo, social media and merchandise for the vintage records shop Revolution Records. The website had to be a fully responsive site, across web and mobile devices. It had to showcase the records in an easy to navigate way, with a brand identity which fitted and was recognisable with Revolution Records' London shop.
To keep the branding all consistent I decided to use a blue theme, this was used on the logo and tinting the images blue on the website, creating a clean design. The animation on the splash page also followed the same brand colours, to keep consistency, the spinning record worked as a welcome banner to the site. All of the merchandise for the site was kept in the same colours and style, this helped to strengthen and create a recognisable brand identity for Revolution Records.
