Design for Advertising
The brief for this project whilst studying the Extended Diploma in Graphic Design, was to create a fictitious trio of billboard advertisements for Volkswagen, these had to represent the history of Volkswagen. I created a trio of adverts based on surf culture and Volkswagen, with the strap-line being 'surf through time.' The concept being as Volkswagen has developed, their surf vehicles have got larger, meaning they are suitable for longer surf trips, going from surf ready, to weekend ready then to holiday ready. The illustrations behind each car representing how much you could pack for each trip.
