Editorial Layout & Typography FDAGMDD04
In my second year of the Foundation Degree in Graphic & Digital Media Design, I created a fictitious project for the ICA Taylor Wessing Portrait Prize, consisting of a magazine spread for Dazed & Confused magazine, poster, website and social media campaign, whilst using my own photography. The photography had to be fashion avant-garde images which were alternative, I chose to use a long shutter speed, creating a multiple exposure portrait.
The editorial layout and poster needed to detail all of the exhibition details, whilst fitting with the magazines style. The brand identity was key in the project, as consistency had to be kept across all advertising platforms.
