Image Manipulation using Computer Applications
The brief for this project whilst studying the Extended Diploma in Graphic Design, was to create a fictitious film or television poster, which could be used for a number of advertising purposes. The imagery had to be our own and manipulated using Adobe Photoshop.
I chose Prison Break, to manipulate the imagery I made an origami bird, which I photographed, painted and digitally manipulated, to create a worn effect. All the background and typography was created by layering textures and backgrounds to create a grunge distressed effect. The bird and map of lines behind, subliminally begins to convey messages with in the programme, highlighting key recognisable features of the series.
