Ideas Generation & Context FDAGMD03
Ideas Generation & Context was a brief given in the first year of the Graphic & Digital Media Production FDA, the brief was a fictitious scenario for Penguin books, creating a trilogy design. The brief stated artwork must be created using traditional artwork methods, which are then to be manipulated digitally. The swirling pattern on the designs were created using ink and water marbling, the horse silhouettes were created by painting and drawing over photographs. These were all manipulated with layer blends. The style of the pieces had to work alone, whist also being recognised as a trilogy.
