In my first year of the Foundation Degree in Graphic & Digital Media Design, I created a fictitious project for the V&A museum, showcasing a portrait photographer of my choice. The brief stated that I must manipulate the image in some way and create a poster, Sunday supplement spread as well as a bus advertisement.
The brief was to showcase software skills, whilst building and learning new skills, the photograph taken by Juliette Jourdain was originally monochrome. Using photoshop I manipulated the glitter colouring it gold. Consideration of photography choice and editorial style had to be considered as the design was to be adaptable across different platforms including a bus advertisement.
