Gary Mowle Cabinet Maker & Furniture Restorer Business Card
I was approached by Gary Mowle, as he was looking for a new business card design, which was simple easy to read and showcased an example of his work. The brief stated that the background was to be a pale yellow because it related to the colour of the wood. The brief was open to ideas and experimentation.
When in the workshop there was a chest which Gary had made. We felt this was a good example of the work which he creates. I took a reference image and created a vector illustration, which was constructed from the photograph. We felt a stand alone photograph would of looked to harsh. A vector illustration created a much softer approach.
