7 Hills Mountain Bike Event Social Media Campaign
Pedalling their way to social media success with the 7 Hills mountain bike event campaign.
I was asked by GP Sport, to create a social media campaign to promote their 7 and 14 Hills Mountain Biking event, where participants take on the challenge of cycling across the spine of the Isle of Wight.
Through strategic social media posts, we were able to showcase the beautiful landscapes of the Isle of Wight, highlight the challenging yet rewarding nature of the mountain biking event, and provide important event details such as registration deadlines and route maps.
By engaging with the audience through interactive posts, regular updates during the lead up, and user-generated content sharing, we were able to create a sense of community among participants and potential attendees. This not only increased excitement for the event but also encouraged word-of-mouth promotion as participants shared their experiences on their own social media platforms.
Overall, the 7 Hills mountain bike event campaign was a great success in terms of achieving our goals of event exposure, participant information and engagement with potential participants. It was a pleasure to see the positive impact that the social media efforts had on the success of the event, and I look forward to working on similar campaigns in the future.
