Velvet Octopus Branding
Velvet Octopus were looking for branding and a new logo design, to showcase the services they offer as a virtual solutions specialist. Highlighting the professional and personal services which they offer. The design needed to be clean, professional, yet communicate the personal service offered. Using a handwritten style of typeface for the logo, to represent this; creating personableness through the design, emulating a signature.
The branding needed to be versatile for both print and digital design, as well as suitable for large and small scale graphics and assets. Creating an icon within the logo suite, created greater versatility.
The goal of the branding was to attract new clients, but also to educate visitors on the benefits of working with a virtual solutions expert like Velvet Octopus, as well as showcase the trustworthy and professional service which is offered. Using greens and blues within the colour palette, as these colours represent trust and professionalism, as well as psychologically representing calmness. All these aspects were important in creating a strong consistent visual identity.
Overall, the Velvet Octopus branding, serves as a valuable tool for communicating the services and ethos, which Velvet Octopus offers.
